We hold auditions in the months prior to the start of our season, and auditions may also be arranged at other times. We invite you to check us out by attending one of our Open House rehearsals, held monthly. Our yearly membership fee is $150 (plus a refundable $30 music deposit), and bursaries are available. We rehearse at Holy Cross Church, 4049 Gordon Head Road (near the University of Victoria), on Tuesday evenings from September to May. The Victoria Choral Society is guided by a constitution and directed by an Executive Board comprised of eleven elected members of the choir. Positions are: President, Past President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Coordinator, Marketing and Publicity Coordinator, Music Librarian and three Members-at-Large. Elections for Board positions take place at the Society Annual General Meeting which is held in the Spring of each year. Members can obtain copies of the Constitution, Privacy Policy, and all minutes of meetings by contacting any member of the Board. |
